Assistant Cook – Ref:AC12/25

 

12 hours per week – 10:30 - 13:30 – Monday to Thursday  

Fixed Term Contract - Term time only(38 weeks per year)

Grade C, points 2-3 £23,656-£24,027 Full Time Equivalent

 

KVPS is a forward thinking, innovative village primary school with 208 children on roll. The school received a school inspection by Ofsted in October 2021 and the outcome was “Good”.  The children and staff are highly motivated to learn and a joy to spend time with.  Our three school drivers are, initiative, the arts and wellbeing and the school prides itself on its support for the children and all of its staff.

 

We are looking to appoint a part time Assistant Cook, to work alongside our Head cook and with our wonderful pupils. 

 

The Assistant Cook’s aims and objectives are to assist in the practical side of preparing, cooking and cleaning down after service, also to ensure storage of supplies is correct and in line with Healthy and Safety legislation.

 

The ideal applicant must have an excellent level of literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent), experience is desirable but not essential, and preferably, experience of working with children.
